UAE Race

My husband, John, has been in Dubai crewing for Steve Rojek.  
They have had a wonderful time and several adventures typical of 
these two.  The race was fast right from the start.  John said that 
"Hawk" looked great throughout the entire race and moved up 
steadily into 6th place.  They stood for BC, which is judged quite 
differently, and a pretty bay horse won it.  The awards were given in 
a tent party in the desert with about 4,000 people.  It was also the 
opening party for a big TB race this weekend.  John has been riding 
camels and eating with the natives and having a ball.  The Arabs 
are most amused that we have a pet goat.....something not found 
there!  They are on their way home today, the horses come next 
week.
