Ha.  I've done THAT plenty of times:  "Oh shoot, I'm out of oil...be
right back" :-)

My favorite though was Roger Barrett's description of FINALLY breaking
down and cooking vegetables after a month or two of frozen dinners.  He
realized that he had no salt.  Personally, I would have thrown in some
electrolytes...we can all use a little extra calcium, but he went out to
the barn and shaved some off the salt block.  Yum Yum.
