And the whole point of having them the same day as a regular ride is that the
horses DO see a vet, and the riders see a better way to do things.  This has
been a wonderful tool to get people introduced to endurance riding--they pay
very little, but get a great preview.  AERC is killing the goose that laid the
golden egg here....
