You are right on, Kelly.  Expecting the Arabs to look like peanut-rollers at
open shows is just as ridiculous as expecting QH's to conform to Arab
standards at open shows.  Putting QH standards on open shows is just as bad as
putting any other breed standards on open shows.   An Arab can be a pleasure
in a Western class in an Arab way just as much as a QH can be a pleasure in a
QH way.  No different than judging groups and Best in Show at dog shows--each
breed must best fit its OWN standard.  Judges need to be educated accordingly.
That is one place (one of the few) where the dog world is ahead of the horse
world...
