I cut out all the times you mentioned electrolytes or pro-biotics below. 
Do you always feed so much electrolytes and pro-biotics?  The only time
my horse ever sees them is in competition.  I noticed on a post a week or
two ago where a lady was describing her horse (in Texas maybe?) colicing
after the ride that it seemed like every other line she was dosing her
horse....several days before the ride, and all the way through it.  She
mentioned that when it finally got over the hump it drained the water
tank.  Sounds like it had way too many electrolytes in the system to me,
but I think she thought it might need even more.  

I know very little about pro-biotics, except that when I gave them during
a competition his gut sounds improved.  It just seems like maybe the
electrolyes and the pro-biotics are performing tasks that good old hay
ought to be doing in a normal environment, so it might throw off the
body's natural urge to do the natural thing???
