	I've had great, quick success with Gentocin topical spray.  It is
available through small animal veterinarians, since it's to date only been
FDA approved for cats and dogs.  My dog vet had no problem prescribing it
to my dog, with the knowledge that I really wanted to use it on my horse. 
Cost was around $5 or so, and one small bottle lasts a long time.
