Thanks for spreading the message, Carol.  I sent the email to as many on
the AERC Trails Committee as are on email (that I presently know of) and
will fax the printed message to the rest.   
    This conference is important also because it will spawn
similar-subject meetings, etc., all over the place (:-(.   For instance: 
On November 13-17, 1998, there will be a "National Trails Symposium" in
Tucson, Arizona.   Call AZ State Parks at (602) 542-7160 for information
on attending this conference!
