Electrolytes

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what dicalcium phosphate is?  I'm mainly curious.
Someone gave me a recipe for electrolytes with that in it.  My vitamin
label (human) lists dicalcium phosphate w/phosphorus in parenthesis.  Is it
actually calcium or is it phosphorus? Is it okay for horses in an
electrolyte mix?  Thanks in advance.
