Hi group - thanks for all the Dodge/Ford responses! 

I'm going to put together a collection of responses for those
who are interested. My husband consults for Chrysler and 
wants to show the ad guys the 'power of the internet' .I'll
let everyone know when it's done.

p.s. We ended up with the '99 Ford 550 - basically the same
as the 350 - duals, 4wd, 6 speed, 4:88 (geared low) - 
same engine but heavier body. Comes with chassis only
so we're putting a flat bed on it. Figured we could eventually
add a tool box, water tank, etc to the bed.  Nice Truck :) 
Can't wait to hit the road! ....can't wait to start making 
those payments...
