saddles bes for short-coupled horse

It seems that many of the nicely centered saddles rub in the loin area
of my short-backedhorse.   AStuebben Siegfried seems to fit her well but
I have been warned against using such a forward seat over distance.
If you have used a Stuebben successfully or unsuccessfully, would you
please share thatwith me?  thanks,  jan

ps:   if you have a hort-backed horse, which saddles have workd for you?
