I know Maggie slightly and I think she's a lovely lady.  I read ridecamp every
day and did not feel slighted or offended by her article.  I will say, if not
for Maggie Price, there would not be endurance riders as FEI stewards at the
international rides.  She fought for us when the AHSA was not as supportive of
endurance as it is now.  They wanted us (the endurance riders) to take classes
from the show folk to learn how to "judge" the international rides. I was at
the stewards class in Atlanta a few years back and Maggie took up our cause
and  fought the powers-that-be to help "our" sport become a more important
part of AHSA.    So please, try not to take this article so personally.  She
has been riding for years and has lots of good info to impart.  And she is
lots of fun when you visit with her.
