Want to hear something completely nuts? In Kentucky TBs there is now a fad of
"frying the foot". That is, you heat up an electric skillet and then apply it
to the bottome of the foot of a sore horse. The last horse I saw this happen
to snapped his leg in a race the next day. Unbelieveable--but done by a top TB
trainer.
