Horses restricted at Pt. Reyes Nat'l Seashore??

No. Calif. endurance riders, and Connie Berto in particular:

Does anyone know about a document called "The Park Compendium" that purports
to restrict the number of horses allowed at Pt. Reyes N.S.?

I just got word from a friend researching land use issues in the area that
this document is open to comment only until May 1.  A copy may be requested by
calling 415/663-8522.

Pt. Reyes is criss-crossed with some of the most scenic and challenging riding
and hiking trails in the world.  It would be a disaster for numerous endurance
riders to lose access to this glorious training ground.
