re: how far to rides?

I'm curious, how far are you willing to travel to a ride? What is the
"breaking point" for you to decide to attend? 300 miles? 500 miles?
Why?....please respond to me PRIVATELY, since I'm sure this isn't of
much
interest to anyone else :)

Please reply to the list or copy to me: mwiese@earthling.net

And how many hours are most of you willing to drive in one day and how
often do you stop along the way? If you stop, do you take your horses
out of the trailer? What do you use to wrap the horses legs after the
ride and during the trailer ride home? I have never wrapped my young
guys legs since we have done next to nothing so far, but I was told by a
friend that she wraps her horses legs after every ride to keep them from
stocking up. Thoughts and advice, please,
Marilyn in San Angelo, TX
