Re: Easyboot over shoes
At the 96 ROC I used easy boots over shoes. I found that coming from FL
the horses feet were not tough enough to stand abrasion of the rocks. The
rocks were gouging the hoof itself, so the easyboots were as much for
protection of the hoof as the sole. After beign out west for a month that
all changed but that is another story.
Anyway we foamed up. At about 55 miles the strap in the right front boot
broke and it flew off. I never ride without an easy boot in my pack so I
put that one on and finished the ride. I noticed not difference with the
boots with foam and the boot without foam except the one without was a heck
a lot easier to get off.
