I spent some of last summer conditioning accompanied by Patrick 
riding his mountain bike with us. He almost always "won" - I'd 
walk up hills, encouraging him "nearly there, nearly there..." 
and then he'd just blow by going downhill. So much for
chivalry... <g>

Provo got very competitive with him and would canter excitedly
after him, racing him (this was a little scarey - I was worried
we'd run Patrick over).

The only thing we never figured out, was how to get Patrick
to tail off Provo going uphill - pity...
