My husband pointed out that monkeys might easily replace people as the
endurance riders of the future.  After all, think of the advantages:  they
can't yell at their crew, most of their demands are pretty easily met (i.e.
bananas), and they probably look better in riding tights than 90% of the
riders out there.  He sounds a bit bitter about his crewing experiences,
doesn't he?  (Also, I'm not sure how to take the tights reference!).
