Re: Long Leaf/easyboots

Angie,

When we got to Utah in 96 and did some preriding of the area of the ROC. We
decided that the surface condtions were a lot harder and rockier than our
flatland FL swamp rats were used to. So after some thought we decided on
Easyboots all around. I was somewhat concerned about the extra weight. We
did several miles hacking around with the easyboots and the horses went very
nicely. The hard surface didn't bother them nor did the rocks.

I was somewhat concerned about the extra weight, but that wasn't an issue
either. They worked very well. My only advice is to carry an extra boot.
A heel strap on one of mine broke at about 55 mile but being a good boy
scout I had a spare.
