You would only want to do that if those conditions resembled the
conditions you would find at the race site.

If the ride was in the eastern mountians, they you would probably want
to use the eastern mountians, etc.  

I don't think any one above has much of a chip.  I believe that most of
what we have said have been fairly valid comments - maybe not always
said in the most tackful manner - and have been directed at the PROCESS
of selection not at any individual or rider.  It is the PROCESS of
selection that I question, not the selectors (they are doing their job
the best they know how) or the riders (who want to go ride).

And no I have no chip.  I actually find a lot of this fairly amusing.

I might alos suggest that if you have problems with the message it is
much more productive to address the message than shot the messenger.
