Re: Easy boot - grip damage



Just as an update. 

Tried the trick of reducing the grip depth with a pair of pliers.
Worked fine with Hal, deep sand, jumps no problem. He didn't have much
of a problem with them anyway. Tried the same trick on the youngster
who was getting gouged on his heels and lost the boot within a mile of
home. Unfortunately it's a heavily travelled mile and the boot most
likely belongs to someone else now. The young fellow was not pleased
at having to do the remaining 10 miles without his boots.

So off to buy another one tomorrow and try the duct tape trick.
