Gosh, Angie, you forgot the most important lesson of all.  Never, never throw
your sponge upstream.  You horse will see it floating toward him and assume
the worst...maybe an alligator or a giant eel.  Much better to throw it
downstream and it makes him feel pretty cocky that the thing is floating away
because he is so big and important.  Julie Suhr
