I read an article in Equus some time ago about road trotting. Hard surface
trotting builds bone density. Start at 20 min. a day, and build up. Road
surface can be slick with grease, . crowned or banked. Parade horses use
borium, Police horses use hard rubber shoes, I've also seen Equiboots. Judy
