horse rescue suggestions

I am a fellow endurance rider....altho a novice, having only completed 3 25=
milers and one 50 miler. I love it. The reason I am contacting you is not=
endurance related however. I have signed up to be on the horse rescue=
transport list. I received a desperate call this morning from a gal in St.=
Louis regarding a 24 year old Morgan gelding in Idaho Falls (actually=
Rigby?) Idaho. She had transportation arranged for this horse from Idaho to=
Cheyenne, WY. Apparently that part of the trip has fallen through. She=
called me in desperation. This horse is owned by a 70 year old woman who=
wants the horse gone by Thursday, or he goes to the packers. This lady in=
St. Louis will take him and provide a good home. Anyway, for me to go from=
Cody, WY to Idaho Falls and then on to Cheyenne is not something I think I=
can do. I am looking for resources of folks that might be able to get the=
horse from Idaho Falls to maybe Lander, WY. I can pick him up in Lander and=
get him to Cheyenne. I know that there's a fellow endurance rider who lives=
in Jackson, WY. but I am unable to locate him (Bob Stellar???) If not him,=
do you have any suggestions on who might be willing and able to donate=
their time and gas to help this horse and the gal who wants to rescue it?=
Sorry to bother you with this but I would really like to help this cause.=
(By the way, I have also somewhat committed myself to rescuing a bunch of=
draft horses (all babies) from a PMU feedlot in Canada. Waiting for judges=
decision on that one) I love my horses and would want someone to help me=
out if they could so if I am in a position that I can help someone else, I=
will. I don't have access to e-mail in the evening. If you have any=
suggestions whatsoever, I would be more than happy to entertain them!=
