a little disturbing....

Hello Ridecampers,

I put out two questions regarding 25-50 miles, metabolic changes and vet
checks. The answers I've received are numerous and outstanding!
Wonderful comments, suggestions, experiences...hey, if this topic isn't
endurance related, what is?

I noticed on digest that not ONE of these made it to the list. I asked
several people why and they all came back with the same answer.

"everytime I put something on the list people have to counter my opinion
and tell me how wrong I am" etc, etc, etc....

I didn't think this was such a big problem but hey, I'm here to tell all
of you we are all missing out on a lot of good information and
experience because these people have been burnt in the past. This is a
rotton SHAME.

So let us just THINK before we respond to anyone else. Our opinions may
not be the same, so what? As long as we keep a respectful tone and an
open mind, maybe some of these people will come back to the list and
share their good experiences and opinions.
I urge any of you who gave me this top notch advise to share it with
ridecamp (I'll be happy to forward). Please, don't let the turkeys get
you down.

Climbing down now.....
