lucky are we

Ok, this is a little sentimental, but I thought I would throw it out =
there. I've only been 'doing' endurance riding for 1 complete season =
but it never ceases to amaze me, nor do I EVER want the feeling to =
cease, of complete awe and amazement when I pull into camp and take in =
the sight of various types, shapes, sizes, breeds, and colors of gifted, =
athletic, and special horses AND when all of these gifted, athletic, and =
special horses prove themselves as such by FINISHING a course complete =
with rocky, sandy, muddy, steep (incline & decline), and watery =
obstacles...sound. =20

I NEVER want to lose the feeling of being lucky and fortunate enough to =
have one of these magnificent animals with whom over the miles and time =
I am developing a relationship with and establishing a bond when I can =
differentiate between a genuine "spook" (oh my god mom I thought that =
was going to jump out and GET ME) and hey look at me I'm full of my self =
and I want the world, especially my mom, to know it. =20

Lucky are we.

(I'm off my pulpit now)
