I have to say that, after too many years in the show ring - Arabian and open
- the cost of this sport does not compare to the show ring. For example - to
take our mare to Regionals in 1992 I believe cost over $500 for 2 days of
qualification classes for Nationals, and we didn't even have a STALL! We
hauled in both days! That also didn't count the formal coat that i had to
have for Hack or the new hat for that discipline. I also did not include gas
or meals up there. So (don't spread this too much) endurance riding, when
reasonably run is worth twice the price - EASY! It is more fun and less
snobbish besides!
