It helps if you can get in a round pen or arena. Then knot your horse's
reins so they don't drop, get in a two point position and stick your
arms straight out to the side (pretend you are an air plane). If you
lose your balance, grab mane, re-balance and stick your arms out again.=20
I was taught to go over jumps this way as a kid and it is great for
teaching balance--kinda fun to jump that way too.

On another note, my eight year old Arab has recently grown withers. My
vet says that can't be so but she looks different to me. When do Arabs
stop growing?
