Hiya, Tracy.

I remember that article. It was just about the time that I bought
galvanized steel panels which attach to the trailer in shipping and when
deployed. You saw 'em at Tule, remember the maniacal mare, Olympia?
Missing her buddy, Ember.

Anyway, there were too many midnight "breakouts" in ridecamp (past rides
in ID not SoCal) for my taste. I think that's one reason why Karen
Steenhof went to metal panels from years of elec fencing, right Karen?
When Thorn just HAD to be with Wendy?

I liked the Morrises' picketing system, too. When ridecamp parking
space isn't tight, that seemed really safe while still letting the
horses rest.

Shop around, and really kick the tires. The mares haven't managed to
lift these panels or disconnect them yet. They're Dick Hansen's, who
advertises in EN. Pricy but effective.
