Has your daughter (and you) recovered from last weekend at the Mt.
Laguna ride?
The story spreading around the vet check was that your daughter and her
horse failed to navigate a sharp turn on a narrow trail with a rocky
cliff on one side. Instead of turning the corner like the horses in
front of them, the horse just trotted right off the trail, rolling down
the cliff.
Many riders who were right behind you guys said it effected them deeply
and they would never forget the screaming and being unable to stop and
help on such a narrow, dangerous section of the trail.
When I left the ride I understood that all was O.K.; your daughter was
shaken up and left with a broken collar bone and the horse was fine
except a few gashes. Thank God.
