Rest stops

Someone mentioned stopping every few hours to unload the horse to let him
graze and maybe drink -- and said (I think -- I hit the delete button
before it sank in) "NOT at rest areas."

We unloaded Salazar at many rest areas and truck stops going from Tennessee
to Utah last fall without any problems. (Of course, that was before the
incident of the Tennessee family being carjacked at a Greeneville, Tenn.,
rest area and then murdered nearby...)

I'm a big fan of letting them walk around for a few minutes, stretch their
neck, pee and check out the surroundings.

So, any suggestions as to where to unload for 15-20 minutes, if not rest areas?
