I think there are certain bloodlines that do produce & predominate the Top
Ten. Unfortunately, there are so many other factors that contribute to a top
horse including the rider and the conditioning program and confirmation of
the the horse. Al Marah Knight offspring certainly have done well in several
regions and with different riders. Many of his offspring 2 and 3 generations
down have done extremely well. I have researched this bloodline quite a bit
and in my opinion, the incredible metabolics of this line are what makes
these horses exceptional prospects for Top Ten in the right hands. My
research has not been scientific (of course) only observation, past ride
results and checking out what the get from 2 & 3 generations down are doing
today
in racing.
