I have been feeding vinegar to my horses with good results for a couple of
years. It does wonders to keep ticks and mosquitoes off and helps with
flys. I have recently started feeding garlic, I thought it would do the
same, and easier to add to feed. Horses seem to eat fine with either one
in feed. and both are reputed to promote various types of health.

Very interested in the anemia issue. will stop until I hear more.

interesting about the garlic, I have one dog that LOVES it, makes a real
problem while I am trying to put out feed.!!!

for fly problems, try Fly Predators. some type of wasps (do not sting)
they live in fresh poop and eat only fly larva. I've had them for years
and the only problem I'v ever encountered was that you must leave fresh
poop out or they will move on....
