dear Susan, in regards to rubbing salt in my wounds (re: California's weather
vs Michigan's)--I've got a sister in San Fran.--she rubs in all the salt I
need thanks anyway!--BUT she can't afford a horse 'cause board is so high out
there--as well as paying those rent fees you mentiond. Hubby and I own a 10
acre farm that is paid for free and clear--cost $40,000. Plenty of State
land near by to ride and condition on--and the ground has never shook, not
even once. (Course, if it happened in the spring the mud would absorb
it--we'd never know!)
Seriously, visited my Sister in Sept. and drove up and down the coast.
CA is beautiful! My "dream home" is Wyoming (been there too)--now all the
Wyoming people are going to tell me what great riding they have! The grass
is always greener-- Trish
