Julie:

You are so right in your statement <<In a way I think it is shame to see so
many people wanting a mile by mile description of a ride before they go to
it. Where is the adventure if you know what is around every corner.? >> It
seems that people now want to know all the details including how long THEY
will be out on the trail. Everything MUST be planned down to the minute.

One reason we have cut back in our competition is that we do not like to
keep riding the same trail over and over. A new ride and we are off, an old
one and we think twice. The new trail is the adventure.

As people say about us "let's see what is over the next hill" and the next
and the next. New is exciting!!!

Your description of how to use the year book is just why it is formatted
that way. It is a document to be used all year long, not stuck in a drawer
and forgotten.

Julie, thank you for giving such sage advice to the younger generation.
