I feed my critters alfalfa pellets most of the time. I have 1 arab, 2
ponies and 1 son-of-a-gun(halfarab/half pony). Every once in awhile I get
alfalfa, oat, or timothy hay just to liven things up around the dinner
table. Mostly just alfalfa pellets though. At rides I feed the usual
pellets, always keep a hay bag full and available to the critter and I give
them a slurpy mess of bran, 4 way, light salt and water before, during and
after the rides. It's a little more exact and measured than that but yes I
do feed pellets. Jane
