end of trailering woes

Hi everyone,

I got so many responses I couldn't reply to them all---I just wanted to
thank everyone for all the great suggestions and help I got regarding my
problems with horses scrambling in the small (narrow) trailer. I had
David drive around while I sat in the manger and I think the problem was
a combination of it being too narrow and center divider not feeling very
stable to lean against.

The stock trailer turned out to be too short, but we found a terrific
deal on a big two-horse Circle J that's TB size. Took both horses out
in it today and they both rode like a dream and came out calm and cool
as cucumbers. As a matter of fact, ol' Cato was so good and
well-behaved on the trail that I spent the whole ride being suspicious
wondering what he had up his sleeve! And my little mare Katy found out
she can slide the little front window open and closed with her nose, so
now she gets to play Ventilation Monitor while we drive.

Anyway, all's well that ends well. Thanks again for all the help, I
really appreciate it.

Susan
