I ride and compete fairly well on an Appaloosa gelding. I have competed
on more than one Appy, and we have done really well.
Truman Prevatt uses a Walking Horse mare, and he has done extremely well
with her!! You can usually see many types of horses at an endurance ride.
OF course, you will see many arabians, but you will find that many start
this sport with what they have, and then decide what direction to go in!!
Tell your girlfriend to go for it and you guys have fun!!!
