I always carry an EasyBoot whenever I train or race. They are terrific. I
don't use the foam, rather a product called SOLE-PAC from HATHORNE PRODUCTS
(1-800-548-5658). It comes packaged and invidually wrapped for easy
insertion in your EasyBoot. If any bruising or damage has occured prior to
getting on that EasyBoot, the SOLE-PAC seems to help soothe and medicate the
bruise and limit or alleviate any unfortunate lameness'. SOLE-PAC is also an
excellent padding for Easy-Boots to secure the fit and keep those nasty rocks
out! LEVEL IT (1-800-408-2900) also manufactures a portable trail kit which
allows you to apply a rim-type temporary shoe until you finish the ride. I
have used the LEVEL-IT to elevate the heel rather than use a wedge pad. Its
neat stuff.
