Who is planning on going to Tevis this year? My wife Judy Long is riding
on Warpaint the Wonder Appy, and our friend Karen Schwartz is riding on her
very fast Arabian gelding Christagon. Once again, I will be doing the big
crew duties, and this ride requires a huge crewing effort.
We will be arriving at the start on Thursday afternoon July 25 if anyone
wants to look us up and meet the "Great Spotted One" (Thanks Samm- I like
that nickname) We drive a two tone silver 93 Ford F-250 supercab pickup
with a huge Northland camper on the back, and pull a Logan 2 horse Champion
slant with a hay rack on top. License plate on the truck is PONY TUG.
I will do my best to write a story on the ride as soon as I can afterwards.
See you there! Judy is trying to go two for two on her boy, and should have
a great time if she can keep his shoes on.
