Hi Alex!
I had to post this to the general list, since this kind of ignorance is part
of the reason people stay away from Arabians in general. I had the pleasure
of riding with Alex's stallion a few weeks ago. I never thought I would meet
a stallion as sweet and level-headed as our own Sal. But there he was, a
perfect gentleman, excellent manners, and a pleasure to be around, even on a
mare, side by side! So between us, we have @ delightful stallions, in
addition to numerous outstanding mares and youngsters of excellent
temperament. May I stick my neck out here and say that it seems that we have
a lot of "professionals" suffering from a really deplorable lack of
experience to make such a statement about Egyptians. My daughter who is eight
just commented to the Al-Marah statement with her own childlike response -
"that's a stupid thing to say! She probably has never even RIDDEN ONE!" Well
said, Honey! So go get an Egyptian, everyone!
