I too can see it both ways, but it is a lot easier to delete all that
does not interest me than to exit my e-mail and go into netscape where I
find the endurance home page. Then, I have to wait a good while before
that comes up and I can actually access the home page and play in there.
I realize that there are lots of messages sometimes, but a friend of mine
belongs to another list--not horse related--and she had over 360 messages
when she got to work this morning!!! Now that is what I would consider a
lot of mail. I like things the way they are, and if not, I just exercise
my right to delete or not read. Whichever the case may be.
On the other hand, looks like we all need to put our credentials out so
people can decide if what we have to say is good enough to actually
read.:-). I know that there are times when something needs to be sent
privately but for some reason can't be, so here it comes for everyone to
read. Delete! I like hearing about rides in other regions--I really
aspire to ride in many other regions besides my own, but that will have
to wait for the lottery ##'s to come through!! I can always delete or
save for later if I am out of time. Usually, I just scan those items
that I don't feel like reading, but it's amazing how often I actually get
something interesting out of a post that I didn't think worth reading!
Just a thought. I have been doing this for a while now--6 years--and I
learn something new every ride. I am appreciative to those who are
willing to admit their mistakes--good and bad--so that I may benefit.
Keep em coming!!!
