Initially, we tried squaring the toes but ended up abandoning that for
changing the inside angles on both front feet. The angle change was only a
couple of degrees but seemed to be just enough - with the light shoe - to
help prevent Countach from interfering.

My biggest fear in the whole process was not over correcting and causing
other, maybe worse, complications.

While experimenting with different methods, I'd recommend using the Sports
Medicine boots. A vet at a pre-ride check made the comment that I'd enjoy my
horse alot longer if I take good care of his legs and I realized that is the
most important thing. The boots will keep them from cutting/bruising
themselves up, or worse, and you can see the strike marks if they are
continuing to interfer.
