I love the comparisons! Funny, Mr T mumbles the same thing about me....

In the face of conventional wisdom, I'd like to suggest that a 14.3H
horse (any breed) with an 8.5" cannon is going to do LOTS better over
time with a HW rider than the finer boned, 7 3/4", horse. Just getter a
"bigger horse" doesn't address the question. I can't help feeling that
riding a guy with a Sherman tank in his lineage is going to carry me [Miss
Piggy] more miles with less wear & tear. So you don't have to look for a
TALL horse, but you may need a STURDY horse. And then you trade a little
in metabolics/cooling capacity....
