Featherweight- 160 lbs. & under
Lightweight- 161-185 lbs.
Middleweight- 186-210 lbs.
Heavyweight- 211 lbs. & over

I had always thought that I would be at least a middleweight, maybe a
heavyweight, till I saw this chart. (Guess I'm a little hard on myself
about my weight.) But seriously, I couldn't imagine someone much heavier
(for my height) than me competing succesfully at endurance. At 175 lbs.
5'8", and losing steadily, I'm very pleased to be a lightweight. Just
out of curiosity, what kind of horses do those of you (especially men)
who are 200 lbs. & over ride? Are arabians ok for this much weight?
I've always felt kind of bad for my 15 hand, 900 lb. arab.... I know a
man just asked this question, and someone said Morgan or Morgan cross.
But I would really like to hear more about this.
