[endurance] Rubbing over loins

In response to Gail in New Hampshires question about rubbing
over the loins.

I only have this trouble in the winter because of the long
coat. I use my Orthoflex Express Lite on a very short backed
Arab mare. To avoid the rubbing I use a single layer fleece
cloth (mine is wool fleece) under the saddle. This stops
the rubbing. I also have the bootie on the saddle.

Also we Endurance riders tend to ride with very loose
girths. The flexible panels are designed to have the
girth snug.

Hope this helps.

Ginny in Wisconsin. Spring is here. I can ride again!
