[endurance] heart monitor

I have both VMax units and like them both. The wireless model is
super for learning how your horse recovers. I never thought I would
use it in competitive rides, BUT it has been the greatest teacher.
With 20 minutes to PR, I could tell if I needed water or what. From
there it gave me an edge in endurance as I knew, without having to
gawk at a monitor, what I needed to do. I know several people who
ride with them and have no problems. The wireless unit can be
velcroed to a string girth and works great. Roger has reported some
problems with them if not fitted into the tack correctly. The
surcingle method seems like the best idea.
