I have no knowledge of the safety or efficacy of the substances you
ask about.

Throughout Kahlil's endurance career the only supplements he ever
received were a general purpose multi-vitamin mix, and an occasional
vitamin e-selenium shot. Of course, a mineralized salt block in his
pasture and electrolytes during rides.

Over the years there were all kinds of specialized supplements
advertised to make your horse a world-beater. We never tried them,
and they always seemed to fall by the wayside as something new came
along the next year. The one time I did try a "superfeed," it
seemed to seriously *hurt* Kahlil's performance!

I don't believe there's any "magic potion" or "magic feed" that will
make your horse run faster or farther. Just use good, sound
nutrition.
