Suppliments are worth using if you need them.

First know what the suppliment is supposed to be adding to the horse's
diet. Second, know if your horse needs that extra something.

Many people (probably no one on this list) use suppliments for
everything and anything without knowing exactly what the suppliment
is supposed to be doing for the horse and without knowing what the
horse needs. This satisfies many advertisers of the products.
Some times the horse benefits and some times the horse is hurt,
most of the time it's a waste of money.

So, the suppliments are worth the expense if you need them.
