Although the projections for income & expenses were published, I would
have liked a comparison of 1996 projected expenses & income with previous
years. Then the membership could evaluate expenses, and question
inappropriate expenditures. By having more information, we could suggest
reducing or curtailing specific activities.

Also, how many members does AERC have and what are their categories (single,
family, new members vs. renewals, etc.)? In the October '95 "Endurance
News" the membership is reported as 5,000 on pg. 3 and as 6,000 on p.17 (in
box regarding advertising). Does (or did) AERC have a lifetime membership
fee? Are there complimentary memberships or subscriptions. How has the
membership increased over the years? Is AERC likely to see a drop in
membership?

The expenses do not show is the countless hours individuals have volunteered.
I was glad to see mention of Joe Long's 13 year contribution to AERC's
software program.
