Let's just ask a couple questions:

>Vitamins in megadoses ( as touted for permormance rather
than nutrient

Does this include Dynamite?... which has large amounts of
beta-carotine?

>Natural or Holistic preparations containing herbs,
animal/insect extracts etc.
>It is recommended that they not be given during the hours

>competition since the effects of such administration cannot

And how about reality? Like in the dog show world, it is
absolutely against the rules to use chalk and coat
enhancements to "make up" for the show ring. However,
reality was that unless a handler learned how to use
and mask the use of these products there was NO WAY
to win. A natural dog just couldn't compete. (Shelties)

Does this happen in endurance too? I suppose if
any of you are using "grey area" products which go
undetected it would be against your best interest
to reveal that info... just curious... I suspect quite
a few of us compete legally. I also suspect some of
us have made an unknowing rules violation (or come
close)... like I considered using "quitex" to keep
Magnum under control at the start of the ride. I
decided against it... but I also forgot to think that
it would be (and is) against the rules. Makes sense
on hind site... but then how many of us (Truman does)
show up on the lists for National Standings? What
about those horses?
